DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM (CHOKING), DOMESTIC MISCHIEF X 2

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 23rd, 2022 and charged with domestic assault, assault causing bodily harm, and two counts of domestic mischief. It is alleged between March 18-19, 2022, the man assaulted and choked his girlfriend, as well as damaged lights belonging to the woman. It is further alleged on March 21st, 2022, the man damaged the woman’s cell phone. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 23rd, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 7th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on February 15th, 2022 and charged with assault with a weapon and domestic assault. It is alleged during an altercation with her husband, the woman assaulted him and attempted to assault him while holding a knife. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 23rd, 2022, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000 X 2

Cornwall, ON – Aimee Parry, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on March 24th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant for failing to attend court on March 9th, 2022. She was also charged with two counts of theft under $5000. It is alleged on March 13 and 17, 2022, the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 24th, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
