WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Erika Campbell, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on April 26th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on May 6th, 2021, the woman was observed trafficking cocaine and was in possession of a quantity of Canadian currency. An investigation ensued and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On April 26th, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 28th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Travis Stacey, 31, of Kahnawake, QC was arrested on April 26th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on April 10th, 2022, the man had been operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner in the area of Brookdale Avenue. A police pursuit ensued, with the male fleeing the area towards Akwesasne.  An investigation ensued and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 26th, 2022, the man was taken into custody while stopped at the Port of Entry. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on July 12th, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on April 26th, 2022 and charged with breach of release order for failing to abide by his curfew. It is alleged on April 25th, 2022, the youth failed to return to his residence during the hours of his curfew and police were contacted to investigate. On April 26th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. The youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 26th, 2022 and charged with three counts of breach of release order for contacting her ex-common-law husband, being within a certain distance of him and attending his residence. It is alleged on April 14th, 2022, the woman attended her ex-common-law husband’s residence, despite her conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On April 26th, 2022, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on July 5th, 2022. The name of the woman was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Kevin McDougald, 58, of Cornwall was arrested on April 26th, 2022 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on April 26th, 2022, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Leitch Drive. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 28th, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Malcolm Pyper, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on April 27th, 2022 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by his curfew, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during a traffic stop on April 27th, 2022, the man was located away from his residence during the early morning hours, despite his conditions. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 28th, 2022.
