WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Justin Murray, 27, 2022, was arrested on June 1st, 2022, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged between January 3rd, and 31st, 2022, the man stole and fraudulently obtained funds, and made a purchase with a credit card that did not belong to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. It is also alleged that on March 7th, 2022, the man was bound by a release order with relevant conditions to report to an appointment with his bail supervision program and obtain approval before changing his address. He failed to do so and another warrant was issued for his arrest. Furthermore, it is alleged that on May 12th, 2022, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On June 1st, 2022, the man was taken into custody by the Ontario Provincial Police for unrelated matters and the Cornwall Police Service was contacted. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.
