CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH X 10

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 7th, 2022 and charged with the following:

• Criminal harassment
• Breach of probation x 6 (for being within a certain distance of his ex-girlfriend, attending her place of work, and failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of undertaking x 4 (for being within a certain distance of his ex-girlfriend’s place of work)

It is alleged between May and June, the man repeatedly drove by his ex-girlfriend’s place of work, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On June 7th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on June 7th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an altercation with her boyfriend, the woman assaulted him, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
