MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Trevor Samler, 18 and Nicholas Longtin, 19, of Cornwall were arrested on July 15th, 2022 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged between June 10-11, 2022, the men spray painted graffiti on a Cumberland Street building. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 15th, 2022, the men were taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2022.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Keith Woodcox, 59, of Cornwall was arrested on July 15th, 2022 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged on July 13th, 2022, the man made a threat to harm someone known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 15th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2022.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Ian Lacelle, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on July 15th, 2022 on the strength of two warrants. It is alleged on August 17th, 2021, the man failed to attend court for an assault offence. It is further alleged on January 9th, 2022, the man took a cell phone that did not belong to him without the owner’s permission. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for his arrest. On July 15th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and held for a bail hearing.

 

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Amanda Flaro-Fox, 35, of Lancaster was arrested on July 16th, 2022 and charged with mischief under $5000 and breach of probation for contacting a certain person and attending their residence. It is alleged on July 16th, 2022, the woman attended a certain person’s residence, despite her conditions, where she damaged a sign on the property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2022.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Tanisha Garlow-Lazore, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on July 17th, 2022 and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged on July 17th, 2022, the woman struck someone known to her with a broom stick and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2022.

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kristen Levac, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on July 17th, 2022 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, as well as three counts of breach of release order for failing to remain in her residence, possessing a credit card and possessing a cheque. It is alleged on July 17th, 2022, while investigating an unrelated matter, the woman was found by police outside of her residence, despite her conditions. She was taken into custody, at which time she was found to be in possession of stolen cheques and a credit card. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

 

BREAK AND ENTER, RESIST POLICE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kelly Lalonde, 48, of Cornwall was arrested on July 17th, 2022 and charged with break and enter, resist police and two counts of breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence and possessing break and enter tools. It is alleged on July 14th, 2022, the man used tools to force his way into a Montreal Road business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 17th, 2022, he was taken into custody after a brief foot chase, was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON –A 53-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 18th, 2022 and charged with three counts of breach of probation for contacting his ex-common-law wife, being within a certain distance of her and failing to keep the peace. He was also charged with two counts of breach of undertaking for contacting her and being anywhere she is known to be. It is alleged on July 18th, 2022, the man attended his ex-common-law wife’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
