FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Sherry Ann Burson, 54, of Cornwall was arrested on July 20th, 2022 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on May 25th, 2022, the woman failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On July 20th, 2022, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 25th, 2022.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on July 20th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on June 9th, 2022, the youth attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 20th, 2022, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kevin Richards, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on July 20th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in 2020, the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 20th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on August 23rd, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Mariah Major, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on July 21st, 2022 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for failing to abide by her curfew and being outside of her residence with alcohol in her body. It is alleged on July 21st, 2022, police located the intoxicated woman outside of her residence, despite her conditions. An investigation ensued and she was subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
