CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 32-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 22nd, 2022 and charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between August 7-8, 2022, the man repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend, attended the area of her residence, and engaged in threatening conduct with the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 22nd, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 30th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 22nd, 2022 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend on August 7th, 2022, the man damaged a wall in the residence and police were contacted to investigate. On August 22nd, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 30th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – Jacob Wollinger, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on August 22nd, 2022 and charged with break and enter. It is alleged during the early morning hours on August 3rd, 2019, the man forced his way into a Pitt Street business to commit a theft. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 22nd, 2022, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 18th, 2022.
