FOUR MONTREAL MEN ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPT THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

Cornwall, ON – Four Montreal men, being, Hanza Abouelaaz, William Blais, Mihssine Karrach and Hamza Karroubi, all 18-years-old, were arrested on October 19th, 2022 and charged with the following:

  • Attempt theft of motor vehicle
  • Possession of break-in instruments
  • Possession of automobile master key

It is alleged during the early morning hours on October 19th, 2022, the men were located attempting to take a motor vehicle that did not belong to them. During the investigation, a quantity of break-in instruments and an automobile master key were located. All of the individuals were taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Lunenburg man was arrested on October 18th, 2022 and charged with two counts of breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend and attending her residence. It is alleged on October 15th, 2022, the man had attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On October 18th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 53-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 18th, 2022 and charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man had been repeatedly contacting his ex-girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On October 18th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 10th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
