FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Jacob Martin, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on November 14th, 2022 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on October 28th, 2022, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On November 14th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 29th, 2022.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on November 14th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged during an altercation with her ex-boyfriend on July 22nd, 2022, the woman assaulted him and police were contacted. On November 14th, 2022, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 6th, 2022. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – Timothy Orr, 47, of Cornwall was arrested on November 14th, 2022 on the strength of two warrants. It is alleged on February 9th, 2022, the man failed to attend for fingerprints and further failed to comply with the conditions of his Conditional Sentence Order. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for his arrest. On November 14th, 2022, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. He was charged accordingly and remained in custody to await a bail hearing.

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME OVER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Valery Taylor, 56, of Cornwall was arrested on November 14th, 2022 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5000. It is alleged on November 14th, 2022, the woman was found to be operating a motor vehicle that had been reported stolen to police. An investigation ensued and the woman was subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 13th, 2022.
