DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF, THREATS, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 24th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault, uttering threats, domestic mischief and breach of probation for contacting his girlfriend and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged in November, the man assaulted his girlfriend, damaged a window in her residence, as well as made threats to kill the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 25th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with uttering threats. It is alleged on November 1st, 2022 the man failed to attend court for a weapons offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged the man made threats to kill his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 25th, 2022 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged between November 24-25, 2022, the man damaged numerous items in his grandmother’s residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 29th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000 X 2

Cornwall, ON – Aleigha Pawis, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on November 26th, 2022 and charged with two counts of mischief under $5000. It is alleged on November 26th, 2022, the intoxicated woman damaged the window of a taxi and police were contacted. During the investigation, she is further alleged to have damaged the window of a police cruiser. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 29th, 2022.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 65-year-old Long Sault man was arrested on November 26th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats. It is alleged during an altercation with his wife on November 26th, 2022, the man assaulted her, choked her and made threats to kill her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 20th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Lee Richer, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on November 26th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on November 13th, 2022, the man attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 26th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 22nd, 2022.
