ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Ottawa youth was arrested on December 5th, 2022 and charged with assault with a weapon and theft under $5000. It is alleged on December 5th, the youth assaulted his step-father with a knife and further took a quantity of money from him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Erika Campbell, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on December 5th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 23rd, 2022, the woman failed to attend court for a drug offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On December 5th, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
