Cornwall, ON – Jackie Lague, 48, of Cornwall was arrested on December 28th, 2022 and charged with break and enter. It is alleged on December 27th, 2022, the man entered the residence of someone known to him without permission and removed a quantity of money. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 28th, 2022, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 31st, 2023.
SHOPLIFTING, RESIST POLICE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Adam Zeran, 46, of Long Sault was arrested on December 28th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000, resist police and breach of undertaking for attending a certain business. It is alleged on December 28th, 2022, the man attended a certain business, despite his conditions, and removed merchandise. The man is alleged to have made no attempt to pay for the merchandise as he left the store and police were contacted. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody after a brief struggle. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Lucie Lafontaine, 43, of Cornwall was arrested on December 28th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on December 28th, 2022, the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store. She was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 9th, 2023.
BREAK AND ENTER
Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on December 28th, 2022 and charged with break and enter. It is alleged on December 28th, 2022, the youth entered the residence of someone known to him without permission and caused damage to the door. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
