BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old man of Lasalle, QC was arrested on March 29th, 2023 and charged with breach of release order, breach of non-communication order and breach of probation for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on March 12th, 2023, the man contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On March 29th, 2023, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. He was charged accordingly and remained in custody to await a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Matthew Frattaroli, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on March 29th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with failing to attend for fingerprints on February 16th, 2023. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 14th, 2023 for a robbery offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 29th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2023.

SHOPLIFTING, ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Honour Driscoll, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on March 29th, 2023 and charged with theft under $5000 and assault. It is alleged on March 29th, 2023, the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as she left the store. She was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer, who the woman subsequently assaulted. Police attended and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2023.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Dean McLaughlin, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on March 30th, 2023 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 9th, 2023 for a theft offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On March 30th, 2023, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2023.

MISCHIEF OVER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on March 30th, 2023 and charged with mischief over $5000. It is alleged during the early morning hours on March 8th, 2023, the youth attended a local car dealership and damaged the windshields on multiple vehicles. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 30th, 2023, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. The name of the youth was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 31st, 2023 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, over 80, and breach of release order for contacting a certain person. He was also charged with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on March 31st, 2023, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Walton Street. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was found to be in the company of a woman he has conditions of no contact with. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as the conditions stem from a previous incident and may identify the victim in the matter.
