UTTERING THREATS, BREACH OF RELEASE ORDER

Cornwall, ON – Alexander Cecereu, 36, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, and charged with one count of uttering threats and breach of release order. It is alleged that on April 14th, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, it is alleged that the man threatened to cause harm to another individual. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 18th, 2023, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Zachary Plumadore, 22, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged the on March 8th, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 18th, 2023, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 23rd, 2023.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Novick, 49, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, and charged with one count of theft under $5000. It is alleged that on February 21st, 2023, the man attended a Ninth Street business, selected merchandise and left the store without attempting to pay for it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 18th, 2023, the man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 23rd, 2023.

WARRANT, BREACH OF RELEASE ORDER

Cornwall, ON – Dustin Beddingfield, 33, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with one count of breach of release order. It is alleged that on February 16th, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 18th, 2023, it is alleged that the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to remain in his residence at all times. On this date, police located the man outside of his residence. The warrant was executed, he was charged accordingly, and he was held for a bail hearing.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACHES

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old man, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, and charged with one count of criminal harassment, and three counts of breach of release order. It is alleged that on April 14th, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to notify police of a change of address and to not be within 100 meters of his ex-girlfriend. On this date, the man was within 100 meters of his ex-girlfriend and was engaging in conduct that made his ex-girlfriend fear for her safety. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The investigation revealed the man had moved and did not notify police of his change of address. Furthermore, it is alleged that on April 15th, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not be within 100 meters of his ex-girlfriend. On this date, the man was within 100 meters of his ex-girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 18th, 2023, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH OF RELEASE ORDER

Cornwall, ON – A 54-year-old man of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, and charged with one count of criminal harassment and one count of breach of release order. It is alleged that on April 15th, 2023, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not contact his ex-girlfriend. On this date, the man repeatedly attempted to communicate with his ex-girlfriend, causing her to fear for her safety. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 18th, 2023, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Ronald Regnier, 51, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, and charged with one count of shoplifting and three counts of breach of probation. It is alleged that on April 18th, 2023, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour, and to not attend a Ninth Street business. It is also alleged he is bound by another probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date, the man attended the Ninth Street business he was prohibited from, selected merchandise, and left the store without attempting to pay for it. He was stopped by the store’s Loss Prevention Investigator and police were contacted. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 23rd, 2023.  

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Jason Turcotte, 34, of Cornwall, was arrested on April 18th, 2023, and charged with one count of failing to attend for prints. It is alleged the on February 6th, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters to be fingerprinted and failed to do so. On April 18th, 2023, the man was located during an unrelated matter, taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on May 23, 2023.
