MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on September 24th, 2020 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on September 24th, 2020, the youth attended the residence of someone known to her and damaged a window. Police were contacted and took the youth into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Keith Seyeau, 45, of Ingleside was arrested on September 24th, 2020 and charged with breach of appearance notice, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on September 9th, 2020, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints, despite the conditions of his release order. On September 24th, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 22nd, 2020.

WARRANT, BREACH, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE

Cornwall, ON – William Brown, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on September 25th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with breach of probation for failing to keep the peace, breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged the man failed to attend for fingerprints on July 30th, 2020 and a warrant was issued for his arrest.  On September 25th, 2020, police located the man, who was in breach of his conditions. The man was taken into custody, at which time he was found to be in possession of bear mace. He was charged accordingly and held in custody to await a bail hearing.
