WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kyla Mercer, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on October 7th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on June 19th, 2020, the woman failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, it was learned the woman had allegedly changed addresses without notifying police and a warrant was subsequently issued for her arrest. On October 7th, 2020, police located the woman and took her into custody on the strength of the warrant. She was released to appear in court on December 15th, 2020.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Travis Cook, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on October 7th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged in August the man failed to report to his bail program and had also changed addresses without notifying police. An investigation ensued and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 7th, 2020 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on December 15th, 2020.

PERSONATION

Cornwall, ON – Tacala Buckshot, 35, of Akwesasne was arrested on October 7th, 2020 and charged with personation. It is alleged on April 23rd, 2020, the woman identified as someone else while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 7th, 2020, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 22nd, 2020.
