DOMESTIC MISCHIEF, BREACH

 Cornwall, ON – A 59-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with domestic mischief and two counts of breach of probation for attending his ex-girlfriend’s residence and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on September 20th, 2020, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions, and damaged a window. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 13th, 2020, police located the man and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Jody Burgess, 51, of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on October 13th, the man attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 24th, 2020.

FAIL TO ATTEND COURT

Cornwall, ON – Adam Labrecque, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with failing to attend court. It is alleged on October 8th, 2020, the man failed to attend court for an assault offence and an investigation ensued. On October 13th, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 24th, 2020.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with domestic mischief. He was also charged with three counts of breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend, being within a certain distance of her, and attending her residence. It is alleged on October 13th, 2020, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite his conditions and damaged various items, including a television and a heater. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with breach of release order for being within a certain distance of his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on September 25th, 2020, the man attended within a certain distance of his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. On October 13th, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 24th, 2020. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Domanic Ringer, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his release order by failing to abide by his curfew and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 13th, 2020, police located the man and took him into custody. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on December 24th, 2020.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Isaac Bass, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints on October 8th, 2020 and an investigation ensued. On October 13th, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 22nd, 2020.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2020 and charged with criminal harassment and breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend and failing to remain in his residence. The man also breached his conditional sentence order. It is alleged between August and October the man repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend and police were contacted to investigate. On October 13th, 2020, police located the man outside of his residence, despite his conditions. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
