BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kyle Shaver, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on October 23rd, 2020 and charged with breach of release order. It is alleged between September and October, the man failed to report to police, despite the conditions of his release order. An investigation ensued and on October 23rd, 2020, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 15th, 2020. 

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – John Payne, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on October 23rd, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on October 8th, 2020, the man failed to attend court for a fraud offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 23rd, 2020, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on December 15th, 2020.

UTTER FORGED DOCUMENT, FRAUD UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Joseph Lepage, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on October 23rd, 2020 and charged with utter forged document and fraud under $5000. It is alleged on October 23rd, 2020, the man attended a pharmacy and presented a fraudulent prescription to be filled. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 10th, 2020.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF X 3, DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on October 24th, 2020 and charged with three counts of domestic mischief, as well as domestic assault. It is alleged during an altercation with her common-law-wife, the woman assaulted her and damaged a door, a table, and glasses belonging to the victim. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 15th, 2020. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – Malinda Rochon, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on October 25th, 2020 and charged with breach of release order. It is alleged on October 19th, 2020, the woman failed to report to police, despite the conditions of her release order. An investigation ensued and on October 25th, 2020, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 31st, 2020.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Nicole Swift, 29, of Cornwall was arrested n October 25th, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her probation order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On October 25th, 2020, a member of the Cornwall Police Service assumed custody of the woman from the Ottawa Police Service, who had arrested her on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on December 31st, 2020.
