BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 13-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on December 4th, 2020 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by his curfew. It is alleged on December 3rd, 2020 the youth left his residence and failed to return by the specified hours in his conditions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On December 4th, 2020, the youth was located and was taken into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Joel Duval, 39, of Long Sault was arrested on December 5th, 2020 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on December 5th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Brookdale Avenue and Ninth Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on February 4th, 2021.
