ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Patrick Varin, 41, of Ottawa was arrested on January 14th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged on January 14th, the man assaulted someone he did not know during an altercation at a Brookdale Avenue business. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 30th, 2021.

Cornwall, ON – Waheed Akhtar, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on January 14th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation with someone he did not know on January 14th, he assaulted the person and police were contacted. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 1st, 2021.
