BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Finch man was arrested on January 21st, 2021 and charged with breach of release order for contacting his ex-common-law wife. It is alleged on January 18th, 2021, the man contacted his ex-common-law wife, despite the conditions of his release order, and police were contacted to investigate. On January 21st, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 30th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 21st, 2022 and charged with domestic assault and mischief under $5000. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man assaulted her and damaged her vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 30th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
