BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of probation for contacting his ex-girlfriend and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between November 2020 and March 2021, the man had been contacting his ex-girlfriend, despite the conditions of his probation order. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On March 25th, 2021, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 25th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 25th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for contacting his ex-girlfriend and being within a certain distance of her. It is alleged on March 25th, 2021, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, at which time an altercation ensued. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
