ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Tanya Cousineau, 30, of South Stormont was arrested on March 26th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation with someone known to her, she assaulted the victim and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE

Cornwall, ON – Ben Gerber, 20, of Carlsbad Springs, ON was arrested on March 26th, 2021 and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged during an altercation with someone known to him, he pointed a knife at the victim and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Sydney Oakes, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on March 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 11th, 2021 for a theft offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 28th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 1st, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Barbara Cleary, 71, of Cornwall was arrested on March 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 25th, 2021 for a mischief offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 28th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on June 10th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Tacala Buckshot, 36, of Akwesasne was arrested on March 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 25th, 2021 for a personation offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On March 28th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police attended and executed the warrant and she was subsequently released to appear in court on June 10th, 2021.

WARRANTS

Cornwall, ON – John Payne, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on March 28th, 2021 on the strength of multiple warrants. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on December 24th, 2020 for a fraud offence, and further breached his probation and failed to attend for fingerprints on November 9th, 2020. An investigation ensued and warrants were issued for his arrest. On March 28th, 2021, the man was located by police and taken into custody. The warrants were executed and he was held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Stone, 29, of Cornwall was arrested on March 28th, 2021 and charged with assault with a weapon. It is alleged during an altercation with someone he did not know on March 28th, 2021, the man assaulted the victim with a knife and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 10th, 2021.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Chantale Moise, 40, of Cornwall was arrested on March 28th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of 800 Seventh Street. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 10th, 2021.
