WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Ottawa man was arrested on April 15th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on March 3rd, 2021, the man repeatedly contacted a family member of his ex-girlfriend and made threats to harm the individual’s child. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 15th, 2021, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended Ottawa as the man was in custody on the strength of Cornwall’s warrant. The warrant was executed and he was held in custody to await a bail hearing. His name was not released as it may identify the victims in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Lenka Precechtel, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on April 15th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of undertaking. It is alleged on April 15th, 2021, the woman attended a certain address, despite the conditions of her undertaking. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
