BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Lynn Pyper, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on April 19th, 2021 and charged with breach of undertaking for being within a certain distance of someone’s residence. It is alleged on April 6th, 2021, the woman was in a certain distance of a residence, despite the conditions of her undertaking, and police were contacted to investigate. On April 19th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Richard Massia, 31, of Ottawa was arrested on April 19th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On April 19th, 2021, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended the courthouse as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on June 29th, 2021.

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – Kayla Kirkey, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on April 19th, 2021 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged on April 19th, 2021, the woman was in possession of a scooter that had been reported stolen and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2021.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – Kurtis Dallinger, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on April 19th, 2021 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on March 15th, 2021, the man failed to attend police headquarter for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On April 19th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 29th, 2021.

WARRANT, BREACH, OBSTRUCT POLICE, PERSONATION WITH INTENT TO AVOID ARREST

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 20th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints and breaching his release order. He was also charged with the following:

·         Breach of release order for contacting and being within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend

·         Personation with intent to avoid arrest

·         Obstruct Police

It is alleged while police were responding to disturbance, the man was located in the company of his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions. An investigation ensued, and then man identified as someone else to police. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
