BREAK AND ENTER

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on June 25th, 2021 and charged with break and enter. It is alleged during the night of June 25th, the woman forced her way into the residence of her girlfriend, without permission, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 31st, 2021. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Karina David, 30, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 26th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her conditional sentence order and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On June 26th, 2021, she was taken into custody while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and executed the warrant. The woman was subsequently held in custody to await a bail hearing.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE, DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Trevor Williams, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on June 26th, 2021 and charged with the following:

  • Theft of motor vehicle
  • Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
  • Assault
  • Breach of release order x 2 (for failing to reside at a certain address and failing to notify a change of address)
  • Breach of probation order x 3 (for failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged on May 23rd, 2021, the man took a vehicle that did not belong to him from someone he did not know and further operated the vehicle in a dangerous manner. It is further alleged the man assaulted a man he did not know on June 24th and police were contacted to investigate. On June 26th, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 26th, 2021 and charged with domestic assault, assault causing bodily harm, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an altercation with his common-law wife, the man assaulted and choked her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREAK AND ENTER, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kurtis Dallinger, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on June 26th, 2021 and charged with break and enter, criminal harassment and breach of release order for attending a specific area of Cornwall. It is alleged the man had been watching the residence of someone he did not know, and further entered the residence without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, REFUSAL, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Brendin Martin, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on June 27th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle, refusal and breach of undertaking for being outside of his residence after consuming alcohol. It is alleged during the early morning hours on June 27th, 2021, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol. An investigation ensued, and the man refused to provide a sample of his breath to police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Tekaritha George, 22, of Akwesasne was arrested on June 27th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on June 27th, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol when she was stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 9th, 2021.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Michael Manchulenko, 51, of Cornwall was arrested on June 27th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged on June 23rd, 2021, the man assaulted numerous staff members at the Cornwall Community Hospital and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 9th, 2021.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 27th, 2021 and charged with domestic assault, assault with a weapon and mischief. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man assaulted and threw a machete at the woman, as well as damaged numerous consumable goods. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, THEFT UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 27th, 2021 and charged with domestic assault and theft under $5000. It is alleged during an altercation with his girlfriend, the man assaulted her and took her purse without permission. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 31st, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
