ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM, ASSAULT, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – Matthew Picanco, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on July 5th, 2021 and charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault and criminal harassment. It is alleged the man had repeatedly harassed someone who was casually known to him, while engaging in threatening conduct, and further assaulted the person and another individual on June 13th. The man is also alleged to have assaulted a third individual on July 5th, causing an injury that required medical attention. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 5th, 2021, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Thomas Brockett, 55, of Akwesasne was arrested on July 5th, 2021 and charged with breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence. It is alleged on July 5th, 2021, the man was operating a motor vehicle, despite his conditions to stay in his house at all times. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
