BREAK AND ENTER, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Tyler Geneau, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on July 12th, 2021 and charged with break and enter, mischief under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the early morning hours on July 12th, the man forced his way into a closed Montreal Road business, causing damage to a window, and subsequently removed a quantity of money, tobacco products and lottery tickets. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, police located the man and took him into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 21st, 2021.

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME

Cornwall, ON – Jason Patterson, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on July 12th, 2021 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged on July 12th, the man attended a Marlborough Street convenience store and attempted to redeem a stolen lottery ticket. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 21st, 2021.

PERSONATION WITH INTENT TO AVOID ARREST, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jonah Bruyere, 19, of Cornwall was arrested on July 13th, 2021 and charged with personation with intent to avoid arrest, as well as two counts of breach of release order for failing to report to his bail supervision program and failing to remain in his residence. It is alleged on May 25th, 2021, the man failed to report to his bail supervision program, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. On July 13th, 2021, police located the man outside of his residence, who identified as someone else to police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
