CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 29th, 2021 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged between June and July, the man had repeatedly attended the area of his ex-girlfriend’s residence after being warned to stop. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 29th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 12th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED

Cornwall, ON – Devon Johnson, 22, of Akwesasne was arrested on July 29th, 2021 and charged with operation while prohibited. It is alleged the man was operating a motor vehicle while prohibited from doing so while stopped at the Port of Entry on July 29th, 2021. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 7th, 2021.

It is alleged since November 2020, the man has repeatedly contacted his ex-girlfriend, despite being warned to stop. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 29th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 12th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
