CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 35-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 12th, 2021 and charged with criminal harassment, mischief under $5000 and uttering threats. It is alleged between 2020-2021, the man repeatedly contacted his ex-wife, as well as placed hidden cameras within her residence. It is further alleged the man damaged a wall in her residence and made threats to kill the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 12th, 2021, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 26th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 42-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 12th, 2021 and charged with mischief under $5000 and breach of probation for contacting his mother and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 12th, 2021, the man attended his mother’s residence and damaged her phone. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 26th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Ryan McConkey, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on August 12th, 2021 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged during an altercation with a woman known to him on July 15th, 2021, the man made threats to harm the woman and police were contacted to investigate. On August 12th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 26th, 2021.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Lynne Ladouceur, 51, of Cornwall was arrested on August 13th, 2021 and charged with three counts of breach of probation for contacting a certain person, being within 100 metres of them and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 13th, 2021, the woman attended the residence of a certain person, despite her conditions, and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 2nd, 2021.

DANGEROUS OPERATION OF A MOTOR VEHICLE, FLIGHT FROM POLICE

Cornwall, On – Douglas Bienkowski, 30, of Cornwall was arrested on August 13th, 2021 and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police. It is alleged on July 23rd, 2021, the man was operating a motor vehicle in a dangerous manner in the area of Brookdale Avenue and failed to stop for police. An investigation ensued and on August 13th, 2021, he was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The man was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 2nd, 2021.
