SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on September 22nd, 2021 and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged between July and August, the youth inappropriately touched his sister and police were contacted to investigate. On September 22nd, 2021, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Lois MacLean, 71, of Cornwall was arrested on September 22nd, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged between July 8-9, the woman assaulted a nurse and police were contacted to investigate. On September 22nd, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 9th, 2021.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on September 22nd, 2021 and charged with domestic mischief. It is alleged during an altercation with his wife on September 22nd, the man struck a wall, causing damage to it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 7th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
