WARRANTS, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Roxanne Cook, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on September 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. She was also charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on September 9th, 2021 for a theft offence and further failed to report to her bail supervision program as per her conditions. It is further alleged on September 26th, 2021, the woman attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and warrants were issued for her arrest. On September 28th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Johnathon Gauthier, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on September 28th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 16th, 2021, the man failed to attend court for a break and enter offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 28th, 2021, a member of the Cornwall Police Service attended Ottawa as the man was in custody on an unrelated matter. The warrant was executed and he was held in custody to await a bail hearing.

WARRANT, OBSTRUCT POLICE, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Stephanie Lavigne, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on September 29th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. She was also charged with obstruct police and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman failed to comply with her conditional sentence order by leaving her residence. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On September 29th, 2021, the woman was located by police during a traffic stop and provided a false name to police. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
