CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – William Swift, 64, of Cornwall was arrested on September 30th, 2021 and charged with criminal harassment. It is alleged the man repeatedly contacted and engaged in threatening conduct with someone known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On September 30th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Morgan McCreary, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on September 30th, 2021 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by her curfew, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on September 20th, 2021, the woman was observed outside of her residence during the early morning hours, despite the conditions of her undertaking. An investigation ensued and on September 30th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on September 30th, 2021 and charged with two counts of breach of youth probation, for failing to abide by his curfew and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on August 27th, the youth was outside of his residence during the hours of his curfew and an investigation ensued. On September 30th, 2021, the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
