IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Dante David, 23, of Hogansburg, NY was arrested on October 13th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on October 13th, 2021, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol while stopped at the Port of Entry. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 23rd, 2021.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Akwesasne woman was arrested on October 13th, 2021 and charged with breach of release order for contacting her boyfriend. It is alleged on October 11th, the woman had contact with her boyfriend, despite her conditions, and an investigation ensued. On October 13th, 2021, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old youth from Hitchenbrooke, QC was arrested on October 13th, 2021 and charged with breach of undertaking for failing to abide by his curfew. It is alleged on October 13th, while police were responding to an unrelated matter, the youth was located in breach of his conditions. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 13th, 2021 and charged with domestic assault and assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged between October 6-8, the man assaulted his girlfriend and choked her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 13th, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – McKenzie-Maureen Morrison, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an altercation with a woman known to her on August 22nd, 2021, she assaulted the woman and police were contacted to investigate. On October 13th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 23rd, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Zachary Plumadore, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on October 13th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on June 29th, 2021 for an obstruct police offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 13th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – A 61-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on October 13th, 2021 and charged with domestic assault and assault with a weapon. It is alleged during an altercation with her husband, the woman assaulted him and struck him with a cane. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 21st, 2021. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
