WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Timothy Lessard, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on October 19th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On October 19th, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Elizabeth Allikas, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on October 19th, 2021 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on September 11, 2021, the woman attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the item as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 19th, 2021, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 30th, 2021.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Chiara Smoke-Thompson, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on October 19th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on October 6th, 2021 for an assault offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On October 19th, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Bradley Filion, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on October 19th, 2021 and charged with breach of release order for failing to reside at a certain address, as well as breach of undertaking for failing to report a change of address to police. It is alleged on October 19th, while police were investigating an unrelated matter, the man was located residing in a residence not specified in his conditions. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
