WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Francis Carver, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on March 25, 2021 for a previous fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On November 2nd, 2021, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jessica Lemieux, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on June 24th, 2021 for a possession of property obtained by crime offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On November 2nd, 2021, she attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on January 13th, 2022.

DOMESTIC BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 and charged with breach of probation for contacting his ex-girlfriend, being within a certain distance of her, and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on November 2nd, the man was located in the residence of his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Harris, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on October 29th, 2021, the man smashed a glass door while at a McConnell Avenue facility. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On November 2nd, 2021, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 13th, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Natalie White, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on August 12th, 2021 for a possession of property obtained by crime offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On November 2nd, 2021, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT, SHOPLIFTING, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kyla Mercer, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. She was also charged with theft under $5000 and breach of undertaking for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on October 19th, 2021 for a prior fail to attend court offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. It is further alleged on November 2nd, the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR DANGEROUS PURPOSE, CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, USE OF FIREARM WHILE COMMITTING AN OFFENCE, USE OF IMITATION FIREARM WHILE COMMITTING AN OFFENCE, CRIMINAL HARASSMENT

Cornwall, ON – A 20-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on November 2nd, 2021 and charged with the following:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Carrying a concealed weapon
  • Use of firearm while committing an offence
  • Use of imitation firearm while committing an offence
  • Criminal harassment

It is alleged on November 2nd, 2021, the man had been watching his wife and followed her to a location, where an altercation occurred. During the altercation, the man is alleged to have displayed a firearm to her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. The name of the man was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
