BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 24th, 2022 and charged with two counts of breach of release order for contacting his daughter and using a computer or device with access to the internet. It is alleged on January 18th, 2022, the man contacted his daughter through social media and police were contacted to investigate. On January 24th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name as not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Cole Fortier-Larin, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on January 24th, 2022 and charged with breach of undertaking for possessing a firearm. On January 24th, police were called to investigate a man who was in possession of a firearm. Police attended and located the man, who was allegedly observed in possession of a firearm, later determined to be a BB gun. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 29th, 2022.
