OPERATION WHILE PROHIBITED, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Kari-Ann Levere, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on January 25th, 2022 and charged with operation while prohibited and breach of probation for occupying the driver’s seat of a motor vehicle and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on January 25th, 2022, police conducted a traffic stop and observed the woman to be operating a motor vehicle, despite being prohibited from doing so. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 12, 2022.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 25th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on January 13th, 2022 for a domestic threats offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 25th, 2022, he man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 5th, 2022. The name of the man was not released as the incident stems from a domestic occurrence and would identify the victim in the matter.
