WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Marc St. Denis, 58, of Cornwall was arrested on January 28th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on January 4th, 2022, the man failed to attend court for a drug-related offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 28th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 5th, 2022.

MISCHIEF UNDER $5000

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on January 28th, 2022 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on January 28th, 2022, the youth poured a substance into the gas tank of her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle, causing damage. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, she was take into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Korbin Billard, 32, of Ingleside was arrested on January 28th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on December 30, 2021, the man was in possession of a stolen cheque and attempted to cash it for funds that did not belong to him. Police were contacted and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On January 28th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on April 14th, 2022.

THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Brenden Ingola, 28, of Cornwall was arrested on January 29th, 2022 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged on January 29th, 2022, while police were investigating an unrelated matter, the man made threats to kill a police officer. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 14th, 2022.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, ADMINISTER NOXIOUS SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – A 27-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 29th, 2022 and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and two counts of administer noxious substance. It is alleged on January 29th, the man was having an altercation with his girlfriend, when she entered a taxi outside of their residence. During the altercation, the man approached her at the taxi, and subsequently administered pepper spray, striking the woman and the taxi driver. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 12th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 29th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged on January 29th, the man assaulted his ex-wife and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

FAIL TO ATTEND FOR FINGERPRINTS

Cornwall, ON – James Cholette, 39, of Cornwall was arrested on January 29th, 2022 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints. It is alleged on January 7th, 2022, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and an investigation ensued. On January 29th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 14th, 2022.

REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON – Shannon Joanette, 42, of Cornwall was arrested on January 29th, 2022 and charged with refusal to comply with demand. It is alleged on January 29th, 2022, the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and refused to provide a sample of breath to police. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 14th, 2022.

ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY HARM, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 50-year-old Martintown man was arrested on January 30th, 2022 and charged with domestic assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats. It is alleged on January 30th, the man assaulted his girlfriend, struck her with a bottle, and choked her. He is further alleged to have threatened to kill the woman. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 12th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, MISCHIEF, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 57-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on January 30th, 2022, and charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of mischief, as well as uttering threats. It is alleged on January 30th, 2022, the man assaulted his girlfriend with a stick, damaged a door and window screens at her residence, in addition to making threats to kill her. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
