Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on February 1st, 2022 on the strength of two warrants. It is alleged in May of 2021, the woman had contact with her ex-boyfriend and was within a certain distance of him, despite her conditions. It is further alleged the woman failed to notify a change of address to police and warrants were subsequently issued for her arrest. On February 1st, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and released to appear in court on April 5th, 2022. The name of the woman was not released as the incident stems from a domestic offence and would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Ferdinand Flaro, 56, of Cornwall was arrested on February 1st, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged he failed to attend court on December 23rd, 2021 for an assault offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 1st, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Richard Zeran, 52, of Cornwall was arrested on February 2nd, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged he failed to report to his bail supervision program, as per his conditions, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 2nd, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, TAKE MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT CONSENT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Robert Thibeault, 38, of Cornwall was arrested on February 2nd, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. He was also charged with take motor vehicle without consent and breach of release order for failing to remain in his residence. It is alleged on December 6th, 2021, the man failed to attend court for a fraud offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. It is further alleged on January 27th, 2022, the man took a vehicle from someone known to him, without the person’s consent, and police were contacted to investigate. On February 2nd, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
