WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Kim Legault, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on February 11th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on January 12th, 2022, the woman failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On February 11th, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on February 15th, 2022.

TWO ARRESTED IN SHOPLIFTING INVESTIGATION

Cornwall, ON – Scott Campbell, 39, and Nathalie Matte, 46, both of Cornwall, were arrested on February 11th, 2022 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on February 10th, 2022, the individuals attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the merchandise as they left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 11th, 2022, they were both taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 28th, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 31-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 11th, 2022 and charged with breach of release order for being within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 11th, 2022, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence, despite the conditions of his release order, and a police investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANTS, RESIST ARREST, PERSONATION WITH INTENT TO AVOID ARREST

Cornwall, ON – Angeline Ceasor, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on February 11th, 2022 on the strength of multiple warrants. She was also charged with resist police and personation with intent to avoid arrest. It is alleged on May 27th, 2021, the woman failed to attend court for a break and enter offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. It is further alleged between June and October of 2021, the woman made threats to two people known to her and damaged one of the individual’s e-bike tire and warrants were issued for her arrest. On February 11th, 2022, the woman was located by police, at which time she provided a false name. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants after a brief struggle. She was held in custody to await a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Dustin Beddingfield, 32, of Cornwall was arrested on February 11th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on August 10th, 2021, the man failed to attend court for a breach offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 11th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – James Mast, 57, of Cornwall was arrested on February 12th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on January 4th, 2022, the man failed to attend court for a sexual assault offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 12th, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – John Breyer, 35, of Lancaster was arrested on February 13th, 2022 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on February 13th, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 28th, 2022.
