WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Christopher Riviere, 37, of Cornwall was arrested on February 22nd, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation order and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On February 22nd, 2022, he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 31st, 2022.

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON X 2, MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, UNLAWFULLY IN A DWELLING, THREATS X 2

Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Arnprior woman was arrested on February 22nd, 2022 and charged with the following:

• Domestic assault
• Assault
• Assault with a weapon x 2
• Mischief under $5000
• Unlawfully in a dwelling
• Uttering threats x 2

It is alleged on February 22nd, 2022, the woman unlawfully entered the residence of her ex-boyfriend, where she assaulted him and his current girlfriend, as well as attempted to assault them both with a knife. The woman is further alleged to have damaged various household items and made threats to kill both of the individuals. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

IMPAIRED, OVER 80

Cornwall, ON – Vraj Patel, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on February 22nd, 2022 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on February 22nd, 2022, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol and police were contacted to investigate. The man was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2022.
