WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Crystal Poggemoeller, 32, of South Glengarry was arrested on February 26th, 2022 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on February 8th, 2022, the woman failed to attend court for a fail to attend for fingerprints offence and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On February 26th, 2022, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on May 3rd, 2022.

OBSTRUCT POLICE

Cornwall, ON – Austin Gosman, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on February 27th, 2022. It is alleged on February 27th, 2022, the man obstructed police from investigating an incident by not complying with a police officer. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 12th, 2022.

BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Jessie Snider, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on February 27th, 2022 and charged with breach of release order for failing to sign in to police. It is alleged on February 16th, 2022, the man failed to sign in to police, despite his conditions, and an investigation ensued. On February 27th, 2022, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 19th, 2022.

ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – Mark Slater, 47, of Ottawa was arrested on February 27th, 2022, and charged with assault. It is alleged on February 25th, 2022, the man assaulted someone known to him and police were contacted to investigate. On February 27th, 2022, he attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 4th, 2022.

DOMESTIC MISCHIEF, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 27th, 2022 and charged with domestic mischief and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 26th, 2022, the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and damaged a window. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 27th, 2022, he was taken into custody during a traffic stop. The man was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 12th, 2022. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
