WARRANT 

            Cornwall, ON – Jeffrey Harris, 37 of Cornwall was arrested on August 18th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on April 6th, 2021 and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The man was located on August 18th, 2021, taken into custody and released to appear in court on October 21st, 2021. 

            Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 18th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on April 28th, 2021 for multiple charges and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On August 18th, 2021 the woman attended the Cornwall Courthouse for an unrelated matter and police were contacted to attend. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as the charges stem from when the woman was a youth and is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

MISCHIEF 

            Cornwall, ON – Ronald Payne, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on August 18th,2021 and charged with mischief. It is alleged during a confrontation on August 18th, 2021 the man punctured a woman’s tire and police were contacted to investigate. He was located a short distance away, taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 2nd, 2021. 

ASSAULT, WARRANT 

            Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 18th, 2021 and charged with assault and also arrested on the strength of a warrant for failing to attend court. It is alleged during an argument on August 18th, 2021 he assaulted his ex-common-law partner and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on November 2nd, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
