BREACH, OBSTRUCT

            Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 8th, 2021 and charged with breach of a release order x7 and obstruct justice. It is alleged between September 24th and September 29th, 2021 the man contacted his daughter on several occasions to discuss criminal charges against him despite his release conditions. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

MISCHIEF

            Cornwall, ON – A 24-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on October 8th, 2021 and charged with mischief. It is alleged during an argument on October 6th, 2021 the man damaged his ex-girlfriend’s television and police were later called to investigate. The man was taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 23rd, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

WARRANT, FAIL TO ATTEND FOR PRINTS 

            Cornwall, ON – Ryan Whitford, 27 of Cornwall was arrested on October 8th, 2021 on the strength of a warrant for failing to attend court and also charged with failing to attend for his fingerprints. It is alleged a warrant was issued for the arrest of the man after he failed to attend for court on September 21st, 2021. It is also alleged the man failed to attend for fingerprints on August 23rd, 2021 and an investigation ensued. On October 8th, 2021 the man was spotted by a member of the Cornwall Police Service. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. 

ASSAULT 

            Cornwall, ON – A 36-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on October 11th, 2021 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument ion October 11th, 2021 the woman assaulted her boyfriend and police were contacted to investigate. The woman was taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter. 

IMPAIRED OPERATION, 80 AND OVER 

            Cornwall, ON – Theresa Moak, 35 of Cornwall was arrested on October 10th, 2021 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and 80 and over. It is alleged in the early morning hours of October 10th, 2021 the woman was driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Second Street East. She was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 21st, 2021. 

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $5000, BREACH 

            Cornwall, ON – Curtis Griffith, 33 of Ottawa was arrested on October 11th, 2021 and charged with possession of stolen property over $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged while investigating a suspicious vehicle at the RCAF wing on October 11th, 2021 police found the man in possession of a stolen vehicle. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
