WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Andrea Bedard, 45, of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 20, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on July 02, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Aug. 20, 2024, the woman was located and the warrant was executed. She was released to appear in court on Sept. 24, 2024.

POSSESSION AND USE OF CREDIT CARD OBTAINED BY CRIME, WEAPON, SCHEDULED SUBSTANCE, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Esidoros Sideratos, 23, of Iroquois, was arrested on Aug. 20, 2024, and charged with the following counts;

  • Possession or property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Use of credit card obtained through commission of an offence x3
  • Fail to comply with probation x2
  • Possession of a weapon
  • Possession of a scheduled substance

It is alleged on Aug. 18, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and on this date was in possession of a credit card that was obtained through the commission of an offence and made three separate transactions with it. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. It is also alleged on Aug. 20, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. On this date located the man as a result of information received from a member of the public. It is alleged that while being taken into custody, the man was in possession of a weapon and a scheduled substance. He was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 28-year-old man of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 20, 2024, and charged with two counts of failing to comply with release order. It is alleged on Aug. 20, 2024, the man was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to not be within 100 meters of or have any contact with his ex-girlfriend. On this date, it is alleged the man attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and communicated with her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old youth was arrested on Aug. 20, 2024, and charged with failing to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on Aug. 20, the youth was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to remain in his residence between specific times. On this date, it is alleged police responded to a disturbance and located the youth outside of is residence during the specified times in his undertaking. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old youth of Cornwall was arrested on Aug. 20, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged the youth attended a Second Street business, and left the store with merchandise he didn’t pay for. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – MacKenzie Jarvis, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug 21, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on July 11, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. It is alleged on this date, the man entered a property without approval of its occupants. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On Aug. 21, 2024, the man was located and the warrant was executed. He was released to appear in court on Oct. 31, 2024.
