MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on Aug. 27, 2024, and charged with mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on Aug. 27, 2024, the youth damaged property in his residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. He was later located by police. The youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – Cybelle Taylor-Rawlings, 30, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 27, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged between May 29, 2024, and Aug. 22, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer. She failed to do so and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On Aug. 27, 2024, the woman was located by a member of the CPS who was on general patrol. The warrant was executed, she was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
FAIL TO COMPLY, ASSAULT PEACE OFFICER
Cornwall, ON – Ashley Belanger-Boudrias, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 27, 2024, and charged with four counts of fail to comply with probation order and assault a peace officer. It is alleged on Aug. 27, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to notify the court or probation officer of any change of name or address. It is also alleged on this date, she was bound by a second probation order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and to live at a place approved by the probation officer and not change the address without consent. On Aug. 27, 2024, police responded to an unwanted person call and an investigation ensued. The woman was located by police and during the investigation, it is alleged, she assaulted a member of the CPS. The investigation also revealed she was not residing at the address she was supposed to living at. The woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY
Cornwall, ON – Shannon Pollard-Hilton, 45, of Cornwall, was arrested on Aug. 28, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant, charged with fail to attend court and fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on May 18, 2017, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On Aug. 28, 2024, the woman was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not be outside her residence between specific hours. On this date, police responded to a suspicious person call and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, the warrant was executed and she was charged accordingly. She was held for a bail hearing.
