ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Kathleen Hay, 64, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 11, 2024, and charged with assault and assault with a weapon. It is alleged on June 22, 2024, the woman assaulted an individual known to her and also assaulted the individual with a weapon. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 11, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2024.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Honour Driscoll, 40, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 11, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on July 11, 2024, the woman attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2024.  

DOMESTIC ASSAULT, DOMESTIC MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on July 11, 2024, and charged with domestic assault and domestic mischief. It is alleged on July 11, 2024, the woman assaulted her spouse and damaged his property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.
