FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Joshua Tilley, 31, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 12, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with undertaking. It is alleged on July 12, 2024, the man was bound by an undertaking with the relevant condition to not occupy the driver’s seat of any conveyance. On this date, police observed the man allegedly operating a four-wheeler in the area of Bedford Street and First Street West. A traffic stop was conducted and an investigation ensued. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Terrence Telemaque, 25, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 12, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on July 9, 2024, the man was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 12, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address a separate matter. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.

FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT, SEXUAL ASSAULT, SEXUAL INTERFERENCE, INVITATION TO SEXUAL TOUCHING

Cornwall, ON – Joey Laurin, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 12, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Forcible confinement
  • Two counts of sexual assault on a person under 16 years of age
  • Two counts of sexual interference
  • Two counts of invitation to sexual touching under 16 years of age

It is alleged on May 29, 2023, the man confined an individual under the age of 16 to a room and sexually assaulted her. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 12, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address a separate matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Maxime Fournier, 38, of Pierrefonds, QC, was arrested on July 12, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Sept. 1, 2023, the man was scheduled to attend police headquarters for fingerprints and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 12, 2024, the man was located at the courthouse. The warrant was executed and he was held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY, SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Craig Hopkins, 47, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 13, 2024, and charged with two counts of fail to comply with probation order and one count of theft under $5,000. It is alleged on June 24, 2024, the man was bound by two separate probation orders with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man attended a Vincent Massey Drive business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 13, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

FRAUD

Cornwall, ON – Vincent Norris-Pelletier, 20, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 13, 2024, and charged with food and lodging fraud. It is alleged on July 13, 2024, the man attended a Sydney Street establishment and left without making an attempt to pay his bill. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was later located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 13, 2024.

Cornwall, ON – Amanda Broadhurst, 43, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 13, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on July 11, 2024, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 13, 2024, the woman was located by police. The warrant was executed and she was released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

DANGEROUS OPERATION, ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Jasmine David, 27, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 13, 2024, and charged with dangerous operation and assault with a weapon. It is alleged on June 25, 2024, the woman operated her motor vehicle in a dangerous manner and struck an individual known to her with the vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 13, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 13, 2024.

REFUSAL

Cornwall, ON – Charmaine White, 53, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 14, 2024, and charged with failure or refusal to comply with demand. On July 14, 2024, police observed a possible impaired driver in the area of Pitt Street and an investigation ensued. While police were conducting an impaired operation investigation, the woman allegedly refused to comply with the demand to complete a standardized field sobriety test. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Aug. 13, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY, DOMESTIC ASSAULT

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on July 14, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with probation order and domestic assault. It is alleged on July 14, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the man assaulted his girlfriend. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released to protect the identity of the victim.

SHOPLIFTING

Cornwall, ON – Tiffany David, 32, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 14, 2024, and charged with theft under $5,000. It is alleged on June 23, 2024, the woman attended a Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store without making an attempt to pay for the items. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. Furthermore, it is alleged on July 14, 2024, the woman attended the same Ninth Street East business, selected merchandise and left the store once again without making an attempt to pay for the item. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On July 14, 2024, the woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.
