WARRANT, FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – Devon Brown, 24, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant and charged with fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged between July 12, 2024, and July 22, 2024, the man was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to report in person to a probation officer. He failed to do so and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On July 24, 2024, the man attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and he was released to appear in court on Aug. 22, 2024.

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Amanda MacMillan, 35, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, on the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged on Aug. 10, 2023, the woman was scheduled to attend court and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for her arrest. On July 24, 2024, the woman attended police headquarters to address the matter. The warrant was executed and she was held for a bail hearing.

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, MISCHIEF

Cornwall, ON – Cynthia Cafariello, 37, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, was arrested on July 24, 2024, and charged with two counts of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief under $5,000. It is alleged on July 24, 2024, the woman assaulted two individuals known to her with a weapon. It is also alleged she damaged property at their residence. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. She was released to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2024.

UTTERING THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Maurice Jordan, 38, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, and charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm. It is alleged on July 24, 2024, the man made threats to cause bodily harm to an individual known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located, taken into custody and charged accordingly. He was released to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2024.

UTTERING THREATS, UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION OF WEAPON

Cornwall, ON – Jordan Tracey, 26, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and two counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon. It is alleged on July 24, 2024, the man made threats to cause bodily harm to an individual known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located and the investigation also revealed he was allegedly in possession of unauthorized weapons. While being taken into custody, it is also alleged the man made further threats to the individual. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2024.

CAUSING DISTURBANCE

Cornwall, ON – Joel Edmonds, 37, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, and charged with causing a disturbance. It is alleged on July 24, 2024, while police were dealing with a separate matter, the man caused a disturbance. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on Sept. 5, 2024.

FAIL TO COMPLY, DANGEROUS OPERATION, OPERATION WHILE IMPAIRED, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, FRAUD, USE OF CREDIT CARD

Cornwall, ON – Samantha Derouchie, 31, of Cornwall, was arrested on July 24, 2024, and charged with the following:

  • Fail to comply with probation order
  • Fail to comply with release order
  • Dangerous operation
  • Operation while impaired
  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
  • Three counts of property obtained by crime under $5,000
  • Two counts of fraud under $5,000
  • Eight counts of use of credit card

It is alleged on July 24, 2024, the woman was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is also alleged on this date, the woman was bound by a release order with the relevant condition to abide by all house rules including curfew, no violence and no consumption of alcohol or non-prescription drugs. On July 24, 2024, police responded to a possible impaired driver and an investigation ensued. The woman was located and the investigation revealed she was allegedly operating the vehicle in a dangerous manner while under the influence of drugs. The investigation also revealed the vehicle she was operating was stolen. Further investigation revealed the woman allegedly committed fraud and used the vehicle owner’s credit card eight times. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

FAIL TO COMPLY

Cornwall, ON – A 17-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on July 25, 2024, and charged with fail to comply with probation order. It is alleged on July 25, 2024, the youth was bound by a probation order with the relevant condition to not consume alcohol. On this date, police responded to an unwanted youths call and an investigation ensued. The youth was located and the investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
